Colonial Instruments Presentation To Be Held On Wednesday

On Wednesday, local flutist Madelyn Curtis will demonstrate wind instruments in colonial New Jersey, including recorders, fifes, flutes, penny whistles and Native American flutes.

Ms. Curtis will present several antique instruments dating to 1820s and 1860s, plus reproduction instruments dating to 1730s. The presentation will be on Wednesday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m., at the Squan Village Historical Society Bailey-Reed Museum on Broad Street.
